I am not the only one…..

It has been reassuring to see other organisations also taking similar approaches to The Ambition Question in recent months – and so to know it’s something of a timely topic. All seeking to understand more about young people and what they need in the 21st century.

In partnership with Teach First, Pearson Education sought to understand What makes students tick?, which illuminated the aspects students want from their educational experiences. Standing out in relation to this project was the fact that 42% of respondents indicated that they felt that better career advice would help them to achieve their goals.

At a similar time, Future First, also based in the UK, sought to engage its community and contacts with the question of what advice adults would give to 16 year olds via the conversation #gobackgiveback

I am excited about adding to this dialogue as 2014 commences and my route takes me onto New Zealand, and then back to the UK via Asia.
